So yeah, Mother Nature gave us the high hairy hard one for our last show at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis. LAME! Yes, we will do a make-up show, however, the date for our 400 Bar return is unknown at the moment.
Let's start off 2011 by announcing a show at 7th Street Entry shall we? On Friday, January 28th, you can catch us opening for a slamming rock act out of the Twin Cities called Sue City. Raging guitars and in your face rock music. Gotta love 'em. Special guests to open the show will be a band that I have spent the last few months producing and recording called Windowvine. Good kids on their way up in the musical world. Definitely a band worth checking out. Great rock riffs with tastey melodies and big fat choruses. They will be releasing their debut record, "Contrast" both at the show and on itunes I believe. Pick up a copy or download a track or two. Definitely a good listen.
The 7th Street Entry show on January 28th will be an 18+ event with tickets just $5 in advance and $8 at the door. Doors are at 8pm so get down there to catch you some Windowvine, check out the Crash set and hang around for Sue City. Tickets are available at TICKETMASTER.com or at the First Avenue box office.
Yes, that was the new Crash Anthem track, "Long Way Home" that you heard on 93X Loud 'N' Local. Much love to Patrick for giving the spin. Gonna send him another track before the 28th so keep listening!
On another note, the other project I am currently performing in, Cliffton Wales will be releasing their debut record on February 4th at 7th Street as well. More details to follow on that one.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! This New Years Eve at the 400 Bar, I will be playing bass alongside current Crash Anthem guitarist Chris Schara filling in for his band Vaudeville. Very kick ass band. I've had the privilege of tracking and producing a couple songs for these guys. Damn good stuff. If you're looking for something to do for New YEars Eve, hit the 400 Bar and kick in the New Year with us!
More "Dreaming Of The Angel" updates coming soon. Will be tracking a few more songs after the new year. Is very NICE!
On behalf of the band, we hope everyone has a fantasticle holiday!
All the best, Wally J.

What's up friends! Yeah, it's been a while. Many apologies for the delays. I just wanted to let ya'll know that we haven't turned over dead yet and that we are still stirring the musical pot. Yes, there is a new record. Yes, we will release it soon...SERIOUSLY. As some of you may know, we each have gone separate ways to tackle our own individual creative monsters. Stever has made appearances with our friends in Scarlet Haze and Matty has returned to the slopes in Montana, while I have been performing with Cliffton Wales as a guitar player/vocalist along with producing, tracking and mixing records from some of the new up and coming twin-cities artists. Busy busy.
So where are we now? We are back on-stage for a night of epic nastiness. On Saturday, December 11 at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis, we will be supporting a band that I have had the pleasure of working with called The Phoenix Philosophy. Great band. Great people. Big Sound! This should be a sold-out night with us ripping through some older SKYWIND material and some of the new Crash Anthem goodies. The line-up has been shuffled again but will consist of some of Minnesota's finest backing Steve and myself up. You can get Tickets on the merchandise page for $5. When you purchase the tix, you will be entered on a pre-paid guiest list at the door. All you need to do is show up, show your I.D. and you are good to go. Hope to see you all there!
-All the best, Wally J.

The Braaap 9 Snocross video is scheduled for release September 1, 2009. It will feature Crash Anthem songs "Catch Me If You Can" and "Follow The Leader" along with SKYWIND favorite "O2".
Also, I posted a new track that we're pretty high on at the moment. This is a demo for the new record. When will it be done? I don't know. We have recorded several songs and are continuing to do so. I'm not sure how long we're gonna keep this one up but I feel that you all deserve a little somethin' somethin' to let you know that we love you and are keeping the machine rollin'. See you soon!
All the best,
Wally J.

Our dearest friends,
Due to reasons BEYOND/outside of the band's control, Crash Anthem is being forced to cancel the remaining dates with Papercut Massacre. No, this is not a band break up or any other wicked, twisted idea that the rumor-mill may spawn. We are still writing and recording as it will remain business as usual. We are extremely disappointed that things couldn't work to make this run happen. We were all very excited and looking forward to heading back out and finally getting to meet and hang with so many of the faces and friends we have gained over the course of time via touring and on-line. Let this be known... WE WILL BE BACK OUT! THIS TRAIN WILL ROLL AND CONTINUE TO KICK SOME SERIOUS ASS.
All our best,
Wally, Rich, Steve, Matthew, and Darren

Take note of updates to the myspace.com site. New tracks will be debuting as we come closer to the end of the demo-ing process. Look for some short videos to appear as well as we will be dcumenting the entire process for all of our friends to see inside the mechanics of building a record...
